THIRSTY THURSDAY: What's Terroir Got to Do With It?

Ok, so what the heck is terroir anyway? Terroir is the most used, but least understood word in the wine world. It applies to the conditions surrounding the wine grape or vine and how those conditions affect what ends up in your glass. Often the idea of terroir is only applied to wine, but did you know that you can apply the ideals of terroir to other items? Like oysters! For this month's Thirsty Thursday we're teaming up with not one, but TWO co-conspirators to teach you about terroir and how it applies to the world of food and wine. Our friends Todd Kosta of Brigantine Oyster Co, and Brad Giuliano of MFW Wine Company will be hanging out with us to chat about terroir driven wine, oyster production, and how the two are more connected than you might think.
