ABOUT DANDELION BAKES:
Dandelion Bakes is a micro-bakery in east Kensington specializing in Italian and Italian American pastries and cakes. Owner and baker Marissa Touch is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and combines her professional knowledge and love for her Italian heritage to make pastries that remind her of her childhood and time spent studying in Sicily.
Join us for a panel discussion and brunch with the one and only Toni Tipton-Martin and very special guests. We'll talk about the process of putting together this incredible book, while sampling some of the recipes from the book in a buffet spread.

Baby’s Kusina and Market is owned by husband and wife, Tam Dang and Raquel Villanueva Dang. Inspired by the food pop-up concept they created in late 2018 called Tita Emmie’s, Baby’s pays homage to Raquel’s Filipino heritage and her mother Emmie whose nickname is Tita Baby. Baby’s Kusina is located in Brewerytown and features both traditional and contemporary takes on Filipino cuisine.

ABOUT MAJDAL BAKERY:
Majdal Bakery is a Middle Eastern bakery in Queen village opened on November 15th 2024, specializing in pastries and other baked goods traditional to the occupied Golan Heights region in the Middle East. Owner & baker Kenan Rabah moved to the United States in 2015 from the town of Majdal Shams to attend culinary school. His passion for baking landed him a job at Lost Bread Co, and after five and a half years of making bread, he decided that it was time to introduce his culture to the Philly culinary scene.

We'll have hot cocoa and popcorn for snacking, and we'll be showing kid-friendly Christmas movies on our big screen. No grinches allowed-- this event is for kids aged 4 and up and their favorite adult.

It's our birthday! One year ago on the third Thursday in November, Thirsty Thursday came bursting on the scene on one of our favorite wine holidays. Beaujolais Nouveau Day, celebrated annually in France on the third Thursday of November, marks the release of the first wine from this year's vintage made from Gamay picked just a few weeks prior. Full of juicy jammy goodness, Nouveau is meant to be drunk young, but we here at Bloomsday know that aged Gamay is also outstanding. For this edition of Thirsty Thursday, we're celebrating our one year anniversary with the ultimate party grape. From Nouveau to aged Cru Beaujolias and a couple of other surprises, we're throwing a the dinner party of our dreams to commemorate one year of wine dinners with wonderful guests like you.
